About Linden, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Montgomery County’s Madison Township, Linden, Indiana is a small town with only about 760 residents. Linden was founded in the 1850s when the railroad extended into the area, and the remaining Linden Depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Linden is a great place to raise a family, with elementary students attending Pleasant Hill Elementary School. Older students will attend North Montgomery High School, which is located just south of Linden, Indiana.

Despite the small size of Linden, there are a few interesting things to see and do in this community. The Linden Depot Museum brings history alive and is a popular destination for both visitors and residents. There are several great places to get a meal or a drink on a Saturday night, including Pizza Corner, R & S Café, and Station 3-0-8. Other area businesses include the Linden Machine Shop, while shopping destinations are also available in Crawfordsville and other neighboring communities.

Like much of the Midwest, Linden is found within a humid continental climate zone. In the winter, conditions tend to be cold with varied snow accumulation, so residents need to have the right climate controls at home. January is the coldest month of the year, and average daily highs only reach the mid-30s. At this time of the year, thermostat readings often fall into the teens or single digits overnight, and to stay warm, residents will want to invest in the right gas or electric furnace.

During the summer, Linden conditions are hot and humid. The town is found in Tornado Alley where serve weather is common, and daily highs often reach into the high-80s. The right central air conditioner is a necessity, especially one with a good SEER rating. By investing in the proper home climate controls, Linden residents can guarantee that their home is cool and comfortable throughout the season.
